Posted on January 26, 2010 by The Engineer

Study less to remember more? I’m not so sure…

Posted on January 25, 2010 by The Engineer

Study hard and get good grades. Does this sounds familiar? That’s what we’re  told. So despite the monotony of re-reading and taking class notes until our hands hurt, we go on and study– really hard.
Guess what? It might backfire on you. In fact, psychology research reveals that your brain can take only “enough” information at [...]

Wait, are you doing this right? Probably not…

Posted on January 23, 2010 by The Engineer

Are you still in school?  If yes, then I have a question for you.  If no, then I have a question for you.
If you’re still in school, you had better be attending every single networking function, compeition, and get together at your university.  If you’re not, you’re doing something wrong.
In my opinion, going to a [...]

09 lessons you should have learned from ‘09

Posted on January 21, 2010 by The Engineer

1.  Now is the time to take action.
If not now, then when?  The decade is over, the economy sucks, your job sucks, it’s time to take matters into your own hands.  2009 was the last year you should be doing something mundane, typical, and boring.

If you’ve been aware and following the Lifestyle Design trend as of the past [...]

Posted on January 16, 2010 by The Engineer

Un idioma es algo que tal vez te parece insuperable.  Y si, es cierto, para algunos, el aprender un idioma es algo más facil que para otros.  Pero permiteme decirte algo.

Budgeting 101 -

Posted on January 15, 2010 by The Engineer

I was sloppy with my money when I first started out.  I didn’t keep good books, I didn’t keep separate accounts, I didn’t keep good track of what was happening.  This can be devastating to a new venture.  The best businessmen have sharp accountants who produce in depth financial reports, which they read consistently.  There’s [...]

Posted on January 5, 2010 by The Engineer

I couldn’t resist a road trip to Ensenada, Mexico.  I’ve always wanted to drive there, hang out on the deserted beaches, eat tacos, and lay in the sunshine.  We had that chance recently, so off we went.

It was definitely worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
